We are currently accepting applications for volunteer firefighters in Hopewell Township. If you are interested please stop by the fire station on Tuesday nights at 6:30pm or e-mail us at hopewellfiredept@comcast.net

 

About Us

 

The Hopewell Township Volunteer Fire Department covers an area of approx. 17 square miles and has a population of 14,000. We are an all volunteer department that serves our community as well as giving mutual aid to surrounding communities.

We currently have 26 active firefighters, 9 life members, 3 administrative, and 5 honorary members that serve out of two stations in the township. Hopewell Station #1 on Brodhead Rd and R Lee Ramsey Station #2 on Rt 151.

We currently have 8 pieces of Fire Apparatus in our fleet which consist of 2 pumpers and 1 squad at our station 1 and 2 pumpers, 2 squads and an ATV at our station 2.

Our services are offered 24 hours a day, seven days a week which include, fire suppression, vehicle extrication, and any other rescue need within the township
